Patch notes

What's changed on the site, newest first.

  1. +16 −7

Language Cards: no more speaking out loud

    • improvedRemoved every study mode that asked you to say the answer into the microphone. Listening modes stay — you still hear a word and type what it means, or type what you heard.
  2. +33 −9

Viewer counter: a crisper arrow, a steadier pill

    • fixThe live-viewers arrow icon looked slightly warped — it’s a clean pixel arrow now.
    • improvedThe open pill no longer changes width as the number of countries online changes through the day.
    • improvedIt now uses the site’s actual font (Montserrat) instead of one left over from before the redesign, and the grey square behind the “hidden” icon is gone.
  3. +272 −6

Enlarge and download the format logos

    • newEvery logo in the Logos tab can now be clicked to view it larger.
    • newA "Download all logos" button on the Logos tab downloads every logo on the page at once, as a single zip file.
  4. +256 −5

Wikipedia links for almost every format

    • newNearly every row on /formats now has a "Read on Wikipedia" button — 109 of the 110 possible ones. A format without its own article links straight to the exact section of its family’s page where it’s actually covered, when there is one, instead of just the top of the page — the button says "Read this section on Wikipedia" when that’s what it is.
    • improvedThe Wikipedia button now matches the rest of the site’s black-and-white button style instead of a generic rounded one.
  5. +15 −0

The closed viewer button no longer jumps

    • fixThe live-viewers button used to hop up a little when you opened it (the panel is taller than the button, and it was pushing the button up with it). It now stays put.
  6. +18 −5

Only the closed viewer button touches the edge

    • fixOpening the live-viewers pill now moves it back in to the usual distance from the screen edge — only the small closed button sits flush against it.
  7. +13 −1

The viewer counter sits right against the edge

    • improvedThe live-viewers button now sits flush against the very edge of the screen instead of the usual inset.
  8. +220 −159

The viewer counter folds away sideways

    • improvedThe live-viewers counter now starts as just a small arrow button in the corner and opens sideways when you click it, instead of always sitting there open. The arrow flips round to point back the other way while it’s open.
    • improvedIt shows the two busiest countries and a “…” if there are more, rather than unfolding downwards into a grid of every country.
  9. +1204 −5

    A page for every format

    • newEvery format on /formats now opens its own page — click any name. All 91 have one already, listing the year, recording medium and resolutions.
    • newA format page can carry a written write-up and photos, added in the CMS. Each block of text and each image can list its own sources.
    • newA "Read on Wikipedia" button appears on a format page, but only on the formats where a Wikipedia link has actually been added — formats without one show no button at all.
    • newFamily names open a page too (Betamax, VHS, DVD-Video…), listing every format in that family.
  10. +370 −90

Formats: several logos per row, and a button to get there

    • newA format can now hold more than one logo, and all of them show side by side in the table — D-VHS shows both its own mark and D-Theater.
    • newHovering a small logo in the table pops up a bigger version of it.
    • newFormats now has its own button on the home page and in the top bar — before this there was no way to reach the page from the navigation.
    • newEvery Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray sub-format now shows a logo instead of a bare name.
    • fixBetamax was showing the same logo twice — the same file had been uploaded twice, and the duplicate is gone.
    • fixThe Logos tab no longer repeats an image when several formats share one mark.
    • improvedRemoved a leftover "d-thertre?" note from the D-VHS row.
  11. +335 −30

    Search and filters on Formats

    • newA search box on /formats filters the table by format or family name.
    • newA year range (from / to) narrows the table to formats introduced between those years.
    • newFilter by medium — photochemical, analogue video, digital video — by switching the coloured tags on and off. All the filters combine, and work in both the by-family and by-year views.
    • newA "Logos" tab shows every format logo on its own, larger and all at the same height.
  12. +2 −40

    Formats tidy-up

    • improvedLaserDisc: the separate NTSC and PAL rows are now one "LaserDisc / LaserVision" entry, keeping the original 1978 and listing both resolutions.
    • improvedRemoved slotMusic microSD from the Blu-ray family.
    • improvedThe working "done" and "?" marks from the source list are no longer shown on the page — they were notes to self, not something to read.
  13. +2490 −144

Formats: real logos, and a by-year view

    • new43 of the formats and families on /formats now show their real logo instead of just the name — Betamax, VHS, LaserDisc, DVD, Blu-ray and more.
    • newA "By family / By year" toggle on /formats switches the whole table between grouped-by-category and one straight chronological list, 1889 through 2025.
    • improvedThe page copy now says "1889-2025" up front instead of naming the first and last format.
  14. +250 −86

    Formats page, built for search

    • improvedThe formats page now renders as real tables (one per family) instead of a plain list, with a proper title, description and page summary — the kind of thing that shows up when you search for a video format timeline or comparison table.
  15. +1103 −1

    Formats

    • newA new page at /formats listing film and video formats by family — 19 families from 35 mm film in 1889 through Ultra HD Blu-ray, with 93 formats under them. Each one shows its year, whether it’s photochemical, analogue or digital video, and the resolutions it carries.
    • newLogos are uploadable in the CMS under “Format logos” — pick a family or a format from the list and upload its image. A family with a logo shows the logo in place of its name; one without just shows the name as text.
  16. +91 −4

Habit tracking: gym is a number now

    • improvedThe Gym question on the habit tracker is now a minutes number instead of a tick/✕, since “did you go” wasn’t the useful thing to log.
  17. +1424 −1

    Habit tracking

    • newA daily habit tracker at /habit-tracking, signed in with Discord. Each day gets its own sheet — gifts, workout, wake up time, PRN, healthy food, hair washing, eggs, gym, weight, tasks — most of them a simple tick or ✕, with a number or a text box where one is actually needed. Pick any past date to fill in a day you missed.
    • newThe last question on the sheet is “Perfect?”, and that’s the one everything hangs off. Ticking it extends your streak; the page shows the current run, your all-time record, the goal (always the record plus one) and the date you’ve earned a cheat day — the day after the goal is met. Staying perfect on the cheat day just keeps the run going and pushes the next one out.
  18. +139 −84

The viewer counter matches the design exactly

    • improvedRebuilt the flag box to match the exported design: the dot and flag grid now sit inside their own bordered box within the pill, the dot is the exact 7.5×7.5px it’s drawn at (hover it for “Currently online users”), and the confirmation that appears when you hide/show your location now sits centred directly under the toggle button instead of above the whole pill.
    • improvedThe “location hidden” flag is now a 🚫, replacing the hand-drawn pixel question mark.
  19. +210 −23

Feedback that isn’t a suggestion — report a bug without it going to a vote

    • newEvery feedback box now asks what you’re posting: a Suggestion, a Bug report, or Other feedback. Only suggestions go on the board and into the like/vote cycle — the other two go straight to me and are never voted on, so reporting a broken button no longer means proposing it as an idea for people to vote against.
    • newBug reports and general feedback are listed under the suggestions, tagged so a bug reads as a bug, and with no vote buttons on them. Only the most recent handful are shown, since unlike a suggestion these never resolve into anything.
    • improvedThe form’s note and placeholder now change with what you picked, so a bug report asks what you did and what happened instead of prompting you for a suggestion.
  20. +199 −64

    The viewer counter folds away

    • newThe live-viewers counter now shows just the two busiest countries plus a running total, with a chevron that unfolds the full list into a grid. It used to stretch along the bottom of the screen once a few countries were online.
    • improvedThe pixel icons are cropped to the artwork itself now, so the toggle sits properly centred in its button and the green dot no longer needs an oversized box to show a tiny square.
  21. +184 −98

A proper switch for hiding your location

    • newThe live-viewers counter now has a pixel toggle switch beside it. Flip it off and your flag drops out of the counter — you still get counted, just without a location — and a pop-up above it confirms the change. Flip it back on to reappear. Before, this was hidden behind clicking your own flag, which nothing told you about.
    • improvedThe counter's green "someone's online" dot is now the pixel-art dot, matching the rest of the site's icons.
    • improvedThe scrollbar is now a black bar on a white track (it was white on black).
  22. +54 −0

    Styled scrollbar

    • improvedThe scrollbar (now always visible, so pages don't shift sideways — see the earlier fix) is styled to match the site: a solid black track, white thumb, and no up/down arrow buttons, instead of the plain browser default.
  23. +63 −1

    Booking error screen

    • improvedThe "missing booking reference" error on the booking confirmation page now shows a bold "Error" heading with the reason underneath, plus a "Book a Session" button to try again, instead of a plain line of text.
  24. Stellar back on the home page; the logo works from any subdomain

    • newStellar has a button on the home page again, right after VidProMix.
    • fixOn a section subdomain (stellar.tabemasuka.com and the like), clicking the logo in the header used to reload that same section instead of taking you to the actual tabemasuka.com home page. It now always goes home.
  25. Signing in sends you back where you started

    • fixIf a Discord sign-in failed and you retried from the sign-in page, you'd end up on the Bullet Echo account page even if you'd started from Stellar or Language Cards. The page you came from is now carried through the retry.
    • fixSign-in also had a tight 10-minute window, so taking a while on Discord's screen (creating an account, two-factor) failed the whole attempt. That's now 30 minutes.
    • fixAbandoning a sign-in halfway through no longer leaves a stale destination behind that could redirect your next sign-in somewhere unexpected.
  26. Decided suggestions say "Accepted", not "Added"

    • improvedA suggestion that wins its vote is now labelled "Accepted" rather than "Added" — the vote decides that it will happen, not that it's already built. The other outcome reads "Declined" to match.
  27. Stellar suggestions moved to the game itself

    • improvedThe "Stellar (game)" area is no longer on this feedback page — suggestions for the game now live on the Stellar page itself, right under How to play. Everything already posted moved with it, and there's a link here pointing the way.
  28. You can now hide your country from the live viewers counter

    • newClick your own flag in the "who's online" counter (bottom-right of every page) to stop showing where you are. You still count as a viewer — you just move into a location-free group marked with a "?" instead of a flag.
    • newThat group shows its own number, so you can see how many people are online without a location. Click the "?" again to bring your flag back.
    • improvedThe choice is remembered on your device, and while it's on, your country isn't recorded at all — not just hidden from view.
  29. Suggestion voting is now fully automatic

    • newThe most-liked suggestion in each feedback area now moves into voting on its own — no more waiting for it to be moved by hand.
    • newOnce a suggestion in voting gets its first vote, a 24-hour timer starts. When it runs out, more likes than dislikes gets it added, more dislikes gets it declined, and an exact tie gives it another 24 hours instead of deciding arbitrarily.
    • improvedThe voting card now shows a live countdown to when it'll be decided.
  30. Stellar Reach updates moved to the game's own patch notes

    • improvedEverything about Stellar Reach — features, visual changes and fixes, not just balance — now lives in the game's own patch notes at stellar.tabemasuka.com/patch-notes, including all the past entries that used to be listed here. Site-wide work still shows up on this page.
  31. Fixed the same delete bug everywhere else in the CMS

    • fixThe delete bug behind the suggestions issue turned out to affect 25 more places — deleting a tournament, team, deck, player or game record could fail the same way once anything referenced it. All of them now delete properly, taking their related records (registrations, invites, friendships, card progress, game seats, Stellar profiles and purchases) with them.
    • improvedDeleting a media file that's still used as a project thumbnail, a project gallery image or a VidProMix showcase clip is now blocked with a clear error instead of failing confusingly — remove it from the project first, then delete the file. It can never silently delete the project itself.
  32. Fixed deleting suggestions in the CMS

    • fixDeleting a feedback suggestion or a VidProMix suggestion in the CMS no longer fails when it has votes on it (which was every popular one) — the database was trying to detach the vote from the suggestion instead of removing it, which is now fixed so deleting the suggestion removes its votes too.
  33. Fixed Discord sign-in on the section subdomains

    • fixSigning in with Discord from a section subdomain (e.g. stellar.tabemasuka.com) now keeps you on that subdomain and returns you to the page you were on, instead of dropping you on the Bullet Echo account page. Login is now shared across tabemasuka.com and all of its section subdomains.
  34. English and Hungarian articles now know about each other

    • improvedWhere an article exists in both languages, each version now links to the other and tells search engines they are the same page in two languages — so a Hungarian search finds the Hungarian one rather than the two competing. The Design Advice list also groups the Hungarian articles under their own heading instead of mixing them in.
  35. Weboldal-ellenőrzés magyarul is

    • newAz ingyenes weboldal-ellenőrző most magyarul is elérhető: ugyanaz a tizenkét kérdés, pontszám és javítási sorrend, magyar piacra írva.
  36. Free website design self-check

    • newA free tool in Design Advice: answer twelve honest yes/no questions about your own website and get a score plus the specific things to fix, ordered by what actually costs you customers rather than what looks worst. It runs entirely in the browser — nothing is sent anywhere and there's nothing to sign up for.
  37. Articles now describe themselves to search engines

    • improvedEvery guide and design article now carries structured data, so Google can tell it's an article with a date and an author rather than guessing from the layout — which is what lets a result show as more than a plain blue link. Hungarian articles are correctly marked as Hungarian.
  38. Proper link previews when you share a page

    • newPasting a link to the tier list or any design article into Discord, Reddit, X or a message now shows a real preview card — the page title on a dark card with the site name — instead of a bare grey link. Shared links get noticeably more clicks this way.
  39. Két új magyar nyelvű cikk

    • newKét új magyar cikk a Design Advice rovatban: „Rossz a weboldalam dizájnja? 10 perces önellenőrzés" és „Hogyan válassz grafikust — és mit kérdezz tőle". Mindkettő azoknak szól, akik épp tervezőt keresnek vagy a saját oldalukon gondolkodnak.
  40. Coaching price fix + clearer tier voting

    • fixThe design coaching page showed a fixed "1 USD / hour" that no longer matched what the booking button actually charged. The price on the page now always comes from the real configured rate, so the two can never disagree again.
    • improvedVoting on the tier list now tells you what your vote did. Instead of a hero appearing not to move, the card says "1 more S vote moves it" — and once it gets there, "it's in S tier". A hero now needs three people agreeing rather than four, so votes count sooner.
    • newThe Bullet Echo section is reachable at its own address: bulletecho.tabemasuka.com. Stellar Reach and the design articles have their own too.

  42. What a coaching session is actually like

    • newA Design Advice article walking through exactly what happens in a one-hour critique session — what to bring, how the hour is spent, what you leave with, and when it's honestly not worth booking one. Booking an hour of someone's time is hard to judge from the outside; this removes the guesswork.
  43. Design Advice: three more articles

    • newThree more Design Advice articles, this time for people about to spend money on design rather than make it: an honest breakdown of what a logo should cost at every price bracket, how to brief a designer so you get what you pictured, and a ten-minute self-check for whether your website design is actually the problem.
  44. Design Advice

    • newA new Design Advice section with three in-depth articles: why work reads as amateur (and the quick fixes), how to ask for feedback that's actually useful, and what makes a design portfolio get you hired. Each one ends with an invitation to book a coaching session. It gets its own address, design.tabemasuka.com, once the DNS is pointed at it.
  45. Vote on the Bullet Echo tier list

    • newThe hero tier list is now community-ranked and live: vote any hero into S, A, B or C right on the list and it moves there instantly — and everyone else's votes show up within a few seconds without refreshing. No account needed, one vote per hero (click your vote again to undo it). Our own placement counts as 3 votes, so a hero only moves on real consensus, and a card shows "we said …" whenever the community disagrees with us. There's a toggle to switch between the community ranking and our editorial one.
    • improvedThe home page is now a short list of the main things: Portfolio, Design Coaching, Language Cards, VidProMix, Contact, Patch Notes, Feedback and CMS. Bullet Echo and Stellar Reach are moving to their own addresses (bulletecho.tabemasuka.com and stellar.tabemasuka.com), and new projects will get their own too instead of another button on the home page.
  46. Sturdier checkout for bookings and the Stellar Reach shop

    • improvedPayments got a safety net: if you pay for a coaching booking or a Stellar Reach cosmetic and close the tab before returning to the site, the purchase now still completes on its own — Stripe notifies the site directly instead of relying on you landing back on the confirmation page.
  47. Bullet Echo: best heroes by mode

    • newA second guide joins the Guides tab: "Best Bullet Echo Heroes for Every Game Mode" — mode-by-mode picks for King of the Hill, Battle Royale, Sabotage and Squad vs Squad, and why the best solo hero is often the wrong team pick.
  48. Bullet Echo: Guides section

    • newA "Guides" tab joins the Bullet Echo section, starting with a full beginner's guide: how vision and sound actually work, every game mode explained, which heroes to invest in first, and the habits that win matches.
    • newThe tier list and guide pages now have a quick sign-up box — drop your Discord username to hear when rankings change or the next tournament opens.
    • improvedThe site now keeps simple, fully anonymous daily page-view counts (no cookies, no personal data — just "this page was viewed N times today") so we can see which content is worth expanding.
  49. Bullet Echo: Hero Tier List & Guides

    • newThe Bullet Echo section has a new "Heroes" tab: a full hero tier list covering the whole roster, with a class filter and a written guide page for every hero — strengths, weaknesses, how to play them, and team tips, from our tournament-broadcast experience. This is a first edition: placements will be reviewed against future balance patches, and ability details are being filled in hero by hero.
    • improvedThe site now publishes a sitemap and robots rules for search engines, so pages like the new hero guides can actually be found on Google.
  50. No more layout shift from the scrollbar

    • fixThe page no longer shifts sideways when a scrollbar appears or disappears (e.g. navigating from a short page to a tall one) — the scrollbar's space is now always reserved, so the layout width stays constant everywhere.
  51. VidProMix: no more hover tooltip on effects

    • fixHovering an effect card no longer shows a browser tooltip with its name.
  52. TikTok pixel

    • newAdded the TikTok pixel alongside the existing Meta one, so booking conversions can be tracked for ads. It only loads once you accept the data-tracking banner (in regions where the banner shows), and it isn’t loaded on VidProMix.
  53. Rock Paper Scissors goes online

    • newRock Paper Scissors is now online at /game — sign in with Discord, create a room, and share the code/link with friends. Everyone fights each other once in clockwise order; each player picks their move in secret (hidden until both lock in), draws replay until someone wins, and the final standings tally everyone’s wins. The host can send everyone back to the lobby for a rematch.
    • improvedLocal API cookie logins now work on any dev port (CSRF/CORS are only locked to the live domain in production).
  54. VidProMix: scaled everything down

    • improvedReduced the size of the logo, text, buttons, spacing and cards across the VidProMix page — it was running too big.
  55. VidProMix: effect preview locks in + loading spinner

    • improvedWhile an effect preview is open, hovering other cards no longer switches it — leave the Effects area and hover a new card to open a different one.
    • newAdded a loading animation for the effect preview so there’s feedback while a clip is still buffering instead of a blank pause.
  56. VidProMix: sharper effect previews

    • improvedEffect previews now play at full resolution (they were downscaled before, which made them look soft). They stream from a CDN so the page stays fast.
  57. VidProMix: effect preview polish

    • improvedThe expanded effect preview now has a white outline.
    • improvedA preview only opens after you rest on a card briefly, so sweeping toward the middle cards no longer trips every outer one on the way.
    • improvedOn mobile you can now tap anywhere outside the preview to close it.
  58. VidProMix: effect previews grow to fill, work on mobile

    • improvedHovering an effect now grows its preview out of the card to fill the whole Effects area (and shrinks back when you leave); moving across cards swaps the clip live.
    • newPreviews now work on touch too — tap an effect to open it, tap again to close.
    • newAdded the last two effect previews (bacicform, blurryqua) — all 17 now have one.
  59. Back arrow follows the header

    • improvedWhen the header slides away on scroll, the back arrow now slides up with it by the same distance, instead of suddenly looking far from the top of the screen. It settles back down as soon as the header returns.
  60. VidProMix: effect previews on hover

    • newHovering an effect in the Effects list now plays a short preview of that effect behind the card. 15 of the 17 effects have a preview so far.
    • improvedSet the VidProMix favicon to the supplied logo mark.
  61. VidProMix: favicon, live video wall, resume on hover

    • newThe VidProMix tab now shows the VidProMix logo as its favicon.
    • improvedThe VidProMix video showcase updates on its own when clips are added or removed in the CMS — no page reload needed.
    • improvedShowcase clips now resume from where they left off when your mouse returns, instead of restarting.
  62. Disabled look for empty day headers

    • fixA day header with nothing available now shows the same grey disabled style as the unavailable cells below it, instead of still looking clickable.
  63. Select a whole day at once

    • newOn the booking calendar, click a day's header to select every available slot that day in one go. Click it again to clear the whole day. If you deselect just one slot afterwards, the day header stops showing as selected, but the rest of that day's picks stay put.
    • fixThe green dot on the live-viewers pill no longer pulses.
  64. Design Coaching copy refresh

    • newAdded a "Design Coaching" title above the intro copy.
    • improvedRewrote the Design Coaching page copy to be more direct about what the session covers.
    • improvedThe booking calendar's month and year buttons now get the same hover treatment as every other button on the site.
  65. Unified button hover style

    • improvedButton hover colours across the site (nav buttons, the hub, booking calendar, Language Cards, etc.) are now consistent: every hover just darkens the resting colour by 50% black instead of switching to a one-off accent colour.
  66. Cookie / data-tracking consent banner

    • newAdded a "Data Tracking" consent bar with Decline / Allow. It shows only for visitors in the EU/EEA + UK (by IP country), where the Meta Pixel is now held until you choose Allow; everywhere else the pixel loads as before. Your choice is remembered. The bar sits at the top of the screen — directly under the header, touching it, when a header is present.
  67. Auto-mark exact answers correct

    • newIn Language Cards, when you type an answer that exactly matches the expected one, it's now marked correct for you automatically (a brief green "✓ Correct", then it moves on) instead of making you grade yourself. Anything that isn't an exact match still reveals the answer for you to judge, same as before. Capitalisation and extra spaces are ignored; spoken-answer and audio modes are unaffected.
  68. Mobile menu divider centered

    • fixThe divider line above Patch Notes in the mobile menu was sitting off to the left instead of centered with the buttons — it now lines up correctly.
  69. Header scroll-reveal fix on Design Coaching

    • fixOn the Design Coaching page the header would scroll away and only come back once you scrolled all the way back to the top, instead of reappearing as soon as you scrolled up like on every other page — a leftover CSS rule was accidentally turning that page's content wrapper into a scroll container, which broke the header's sticky positioning. It now shows on scroll-up immediately, same as everywhere else.
  70. Design coaching copy + polish

    • fixThe email/Discord field badges on the booking form went back to overhanging their corner (like before) — only the calendar’s "Select a Date" badge sits flush against the screen edge, since only that one needs to fit a full-width container.
    • improvedDesign coaching intro copy now reads "Bring your questions, your work, or something you want to understand…", and all the body text is justified.
  71. Badge + header fixes

    • fixThe collapsed "!" validation badges on the booking form no longer show a sliver of the hover message peeking out past the "!".
    • fixThe back arrow no longer hides when the header slides away on scroll — it now always stays visible.
  72. Booking form badge cleanup

    • fixThe "Select a Date" badge on the booking calendar could hang off the right edge of the screen now that the calendar spans full width — it now sits flush against the edge instead.
    • improvedThe validation badges on the booking form ("!" badges that expand into a message) no longer force a fixed square when collapsed — they use the same padding whether showing just "!" or the full message. They also got a white drop shadow and black text for better contrast.
  73. Header shows on scroll-up

    • improvedThe top header now slides away as you scroll down and slides back in as soon as you scroll up, from anywhere on the page — it no longer waits until you scroll all the way back to the top.
  74. Wider booking calendar

    • improvedThe booking calendar now spans the full width of the screen on every device, so all 7 days stay visible and the day buttons get as wide as possible instead of being capped to a fixed box width. The month and year controls are now centred above the calendar, with the week arrows on the right.
  75. Drag the menu to dismiss it

    • improvedThe mobile menu is now draggable like swiping between portfolio projects: drag it up and it follows your finger, then flick or drag far enough to dismiss it, or let go partway and it springs back open. Tapping outside still closes it instantly, and it still slides in when you open it.
  76. Menu slide-in animation

    • improvedThe mobile menu now slides down from the top when it opens; closing it is instant, same as before.
  77. Booking calendar controls on mobile

    • improvedOn narrow phones, the month and year buttons on the booking calendar now stack on top of each other instead of being cramped side by side, with the week arrows staying put on the right, centred on the taller row.
  78. No gap beside the header

    • fixOn pages that don’t scroll, there’s no longer an empty strip to the right of the top bar (the scrollbar space is no longer permanently reserved).
  79. Booking hints stay on screen

    • fixOn the booking form, the orange/red “!” hints now expand to the left when there isn’t room on the right, instead of widening the page and letting it scroll sideways on mobile.
  80. Tap or swipe to close the menu

    • improvedThe open hamburger menu is now a black box at the top (covering the bar) rather than the whole screen — tap the dimmed area outside it, or swipe up, to close it.
  81. Full-screen menu

    • improvedThe hamburger menu now opens as a full-screen black panel that covers the top bar, with the buttons centered — tap the menu icon again to close it.
  82. VidProMix effects catalog

    • newAdded an Effects section to the VidProMix home page listing all 17 effects as pixel node-style cards (white frame, stacked name, connection-point squares) matching the in-app look.
  83. Fix video conversion on the live server

    • fixAuto-conversion of uploaded videos failed on the live server because the bundled ffmpeg couldn’t be found (ENOENT). The ffmpeg/ffprobe binaries are now loaded correctly at runtime, so conversions work after deploy.
  84. Video conversion errors shown in the CMS

    • improvedWhen an uploaded video fails to convert, the reason now shows on the Media item in the CMS (a read-only field under the Failed status), instead of only in the server logs.
  85. Uploaded videos auto-convert to web MP4

    • newVideos uploaded in the CMS are now automatically converted in the background to a lean, web-friendly MP4 (scaled down, audio dropped) — so a big raw recording becomes a small clip that plays smoothly everywhere, including iPhone. A status shows Processing → Done in the admin.
  86. CMS media uploads via Cloudflare R2

    • fixLarge video uploads in the CMS no longer fail behind the Cloudflare tunnel: media is now stored in Cloudflare R2 and the admin uploads straight to the bucket, so files of any size go through (the old 100 MB limit is gone). Local dev still uses disk when R2 isn’t configured.
  87. VidProMix home page is live

    • newThe new VidProMix home page (video showcase, email signup, YouTube + Instagram, and the suggestions board) is now live for everyone at vidpromix.com — it’s no longer limited to local preview.
  88. VidProMix: nicknames, footer, clearer scroll arrow

    • newYou can now add your name (optional) to a VidProMix suggestion, shown next to it so people know who suggested it.
    • newAdded a copyright footer to the VidProMix pages.
    • improvedThe scroll-down arrow is now a clear bordered button, and clicking it jumps you down to the next section.
  89. VidProMix home tweaks

    • improvedThe VidProMix logo is now a link — middle-click (scroll-wheel click) opens the home page in a new tab.
    • improvedShowcase clips no longer show a play icon and can’t be paused — they just play on hover.
    • newAdded a bouncing down-arrow at the bottom of the first screen to hint there’s more below; it fades out once you start scrolling.
    • improvedCentered the suggestions section.
  90. VidProMix home page (local preview)

    • newBuilt the VidProMix home page — a video showcase that plays clips on hover (uploaded in the CMS under “VidProMix videos”), the email signup, YouTube + Instagram buttons, and a suggestions board where visitors can post and upvote feature ideas. It’s parked to local preview for now; vidpromix.com still shows the “in development” page until it’s flipped live.
  91. Study: Enter reveals, then you grade

    • fixPressing Enter to reveal a study answer no longer also marks it correct and skips to the next card — the grade keys stay locked until you release Enter, so you always get to choose correct or incorrect.
  92. Menu scroll-lock + pop-up outline

    • fixScrolling inside the open hamburger menu no longer scrolls the page behind it (the menu scrolls on its own if it’s long).
    • improvedThe pop-ups now have a thin black outline.
    • improvedThe hamburger menu button has a bit more padding around the icon, matching the back arrow.
  93. Menu + pop-up tweaks

    • improvedThe pull-to-refresh bar is now a small fixed size, instead of matching the top menu’s height (which is tall when the menu wraps to several rows on iPad).
    • improvedThe hamburger menu icon is now the same larger size as the other pixel icons.
    • improvedThe pop-ups (“You’re already on …” / “Refreshed”) now sit a fixed distance from the top of the page.
  94. Refresh + "already here" pop-ups

    • improvedPulling down to refresh now shows a black “Release to Refresh” bar that covers the top menu.
    • newClicking a menu button for the page you’re already on shows a small “You’re already on …” pop-up just below the menu instead of doing nothing.
    • improvedThe “Refreshed” confirmation now also appears after a normal browser refresh (so it shows on Windows/desktop too), styled to match the new pop-up.
  95. Booking calendar polish

    • improvedThe “Booking Complete” message now sits at the top of the page (same height as the coaching intro) and centered, instead of floating in the vertical middle.
    • fixUnavailable slots in the booking calendar are now exactly the same size as the open ones, reading as clean grey blocks (stroke matches the fill) with the “+” still showing.
  96. Compact booking hints

    • improvedThe hints on the booking form (the email/Discord “!” badges and the calendar’s “Select a Date”) are now a small “!” tucked on the corner; hover (or tap) it and it expands to show the message, always sitting above the others.
    • fixRemoved the duplicate browser tooltip that popped up when hovering those badges.
  97. Steady Book Sessions button

    • fixThe “Book Sessions” button no longer jumps/resizes when its loading spinner finishes — the button keeps the same size and position throughout.
  98. Top-bar logo scales with the bar

    • improvedThe logo in the top menu bar now scales with the height of the bar — staying its set size on a single-row bar and growing to fill the bar as the menu wraps onto more rows.
  99. Booking opens on the first open week

    • improvedThe booking calendar now opens on the earliest week that actually has a free slot — if this week is fully booked (or already past), it jumps straight to the next week with availability.
  100. Study answer + listening fixes

    • fixTyping your answer and pressing Enter now reveals the answer and waits for you to mark it correct or incorrect, instead of instantly skipping to the next card.
    • improvedListening exercises now show the text of the audio that was playing once you check, so you can read what you heard.
  101. Language Cards page redesign

    • improvedThe whole Language Cards page now matches the new look: a centered streak pill, Sign Out top-right, the language picker and Learn/Cards/Notes/Editors tabs in a clean top row, and a tidy boxed sidebar for your decks and friends.
  102. Language Cards study card redesign

    • improvedThe study card has a new look that tells you the task at a glance: a blue card with “Translate” for translation cards, and a magenta card with “Type” when you need to type what you hear or the pinyin. The answer box and Check button were restyled to match.
  103. Back arrow stays put

    • fixThe back arrow no longer collides with the top menu when the window is narrow — it now sits a consistent distance below the menu (even when the menu wraps to several rows) and stays pinned in place while you scroll, on every page.
  104. Design coaching booking layout

    • improvedTweaked the design coaching booking page to match the design: the email/Discord form is now a compact box centered under the calendar (instead of stretching the full width), the calendar is a touch wider, and the inputs and Book button are sized to spec.
  105. Home page fits smaller screens

    • fixOn shorter monitors the home page logo no longer crowds the top and the buttons no longer crowd the white line at the bottom — the spacing now scales with the screen height while staying the same on large displays.
  106. Home page polish

    • improvedThe VidProMix button is no longer all-caps, the home page now has a thin line along the bottom, and the menu icons sit properly centered in their frames.
  107. Home page tune-up

    • improvedTidied the home page to match the design — consistent button width, spacing, and the live-viewers flag moved up from the bottom.
  108. Bigger icons & calendar polish

    • fixMenu icons now sit centered in their box instead of the top-left corner.
    • improvedThe booking calendar is roomier — bigger date/plus/arrow icons and more padding on the buttons, cells, tags and fields.
    • improvedThe top-bar logo now scales with the header instead of crowding it on small screens, and the “End of Home Page” text is bigger.
  109. Bigger menu buttons

    • improvedThe menu button icons and the top-bar logo are larger, the buttons a touch roomier, and the “Soon” tags bigger.
    • improvedMoved the VIDPROMIX button to just after Language Cards.
  110. VIDPROMIX button icon

    • improvedThe VIDPROMIX button in the home menu and top bar now shows the VidProMix logo.
  111. VidProMix landing page

    • newVidProMix now has an in-development landing page with the logo, an email signup to be notified at launch, and a link to the YouTube channel.
  112. VidProMix link

    • newAdded a VIDPROMIX button to the home menu and the top bar — it opens vidpromix.com.
  113. Calendar swipe flash & mobile fit

    • fixFixed a brief flicker when the booking calendar settled on a new week after a swipe.
    • fixOn phones the day names no longer spill into the neighbouring day’s column.
  114. Calendar swipe & control tweaks

    • improvedChanging weeks on the booking calendar now takes a shorter swipe — a quick flick works too.
    • improvedThe month and year buttons are now a fixed, equal width so they no longer change size as you move through the calendar.
  115. Calendar swipe & split-week polish

    • improvedSwiping the booking calendar now slides only the dates and cells (the hours stay put) and shows the next week’s slots moving in under your finger, like a carousel.
    • newWhen a week spans two months, a 2px line now separates the two months’ cells, and the month/year now read as a range (e.g. “June–July”, “2026–2027”).
    • fixRemoved the last bit of off-colour space at the bottom of the Design coaching page on iPad.
  116. Touch & layout fixes

    • improvedSwiping between weeks on the booking calendar now follows your finger and snaps, just like swiping between portfolio projects.
    • fixRemoved the extra space/strip at the bottom of the Design coaching page on iPad and other tablets.
    • fixButtons no longer get stuck looking “hovered” after you tap them on a phone or tablet.
    • fixThe back arrow and the live-viewers flag now sit the same distance from the header and the bottom of the screen.
  117. Calendar, menu & polish

    • fixRemoved the empty off-colour strip at the very bottom of the pages (left over from the old bottom bar) — pages are now that bit shorter.
    • newOn the booking calendar you can now swipe left/right to change weeks on a phone, not just tap the arrows.
    • improvedThe hamburger menu button was restyled to the pixel-art design.
    • newThe Book Sessions button now shows a pixel loading animation while it’s getting ready.
    • improvedBooking now avoids clashes with events on any of the coach’s own Google calendars, not just the main one.
  118. Self-graded study + booking window

    • improvedLanguage Cards no longer auto-grades your answers — you reveal the answer and mark yourself Correct or Incorrect every time. The AI / automatic answer-checking was removed.
    • improvedCoaching sessions can now be booked from 11:00 to 21:00, and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
  119. New patch-notes tags

    • improvedThe New / Improved / Fix tags on this page were restyled to match the new design: a black chip with a coloured outline and matching label (green / blue / gold).
  120. Top-bar divider fix

    • fixThe divider in the top bar now matches the button height, and turns into a full-width horizontal line when the menu is open.
  121. One menu, no bottom bar

    • newThe bottom bar is gone — Patch Notes, Feedback and CMS now live in the home menu (under Contact, after a separator) and in the top bar.
    • improvedEvery menu icon now sits in a consistent 14×14 frame, so the button text lines up neatly.
    • fixUnavailable booking slots no longer show a thin white seam between them.
    • improvedSmall nudge to the back arrow and live-viewers flag positions.
  122. Menu, tags & corner tweaks

    • fixThe open hamburger menu now sits over the back arrow instead of behind it.
    • improvedThe “Soon” menu buttons (home + top bar) no longer have an outline, matching the other disabled bits.
    • improvedThe “Select a Date” tag now hides once you’ve picked a slot, and the orange accent was retuned.
    • improvedNudged the back arrow and the live-viewers flag further into their corners.
  123. Booking calendar fine-tuning

    • improvedUnavailable booking slots no longer have an outline, and the grid stretches to touch the right edge of its panel.
    • improvedThe Fill / Fix tags now tuck into the top corner of each field (like the Select a Date tag), with matching rounded corners.
    • improvedNo more coloured highlight around the email/Discord fields when you click into them.
    • improvedNudged the back arrow and the live-viewers flag a little further into their corners.
  124. Booking layout polish

    • improvedThe booking calendar is now built from neat nested boxes (controls and grid each in their own panel), with the hour ticks lined up exactly on the slot rows.
    • improvedThe Select a Date / Fill / Fix tags share the same black outline and height as the input fields.
    • improvedThe back arrow now stays put while you scroll, and the live-viewers flag mirrors its position on the opposite corner.
    • improvedThe “Booking Complete” screen is simpler now — just the confirmation heading, in the same style as the page intro.
  125. Design coaching layout tweaks

    • improvedThe Design coaching page now lines the back arrow up with the intro text, and the intro reads in normal case (no longer all caps).
    • improvedThe back arrow got the same soft drop shadow as the rest of the chrome.
    • improvedBooking calendar: the box is square, the day cells reach the right edge, and the orange tags (Select a Date / Fill / Fix) match the input height and sit flush right.
    • improvedThe live-viewers flag pill now uses the same padding as the back button.
  126. Bullet Echo Tournaments is back

    • newThe Bullet Echo Tournaments section is live again — the full tournament pages (schedule, rules, history, account, sign-in) are back, no longer behind the newsletter-only holding page.
    • improvedBullet Echo Tournaments is now a normal clickable button in the home menu and top bar (the “Soon” tag is gone).
  127. Booking calendar polish

    • improvedThe Design coaching booking calendar now matches the design: the whole date picker sits in one white box, with a “Select a Date” tag, hour marks lined up with the slot rows, and clearer + / ✓ slot marks.
    • improvedTimes now run on the hour starting at 07:00 (no half-hour slots), and each slot is the booking between two hour marks.
    • improvedThe email and Discord fields sit together in one panel, and the Book button is centered.
    • improvedThe back arrow in the top-left uses the new design icon, and the page heading is larger.
  128. New site bars & booking calendar

    • newEvery page now has the white top bar (logo + menu) and the bottom bar, plus a back arrow in the top-left that goes back.
    • newDesign coaching has a rewritten page and a proper booking calendar: pick hour slots from a week grid, flip between weeks, and jump months/years. Booked and unavailable times are greyed out.
    • improvedBooking now asks for just your email and Discord, with live “Fill”/“Fix” hints, and you can book sessions further ahead.
    • improvedMenu buttons across the site share one consistent look (medium weight, grey “Soon” items).
  129. Portfolio highlighted

    • improvedThe Portfolio button on the home page is now the blue “priority” style.
  130. Bottom bar centered

    • improvedThe bottom bar buttons (Patch Notes / Feedback / CMS) are now centered.
  131. Bottom bar font

    • improvedThe bottom bar buttons (Patch Notes / Feedback / CMS) now use the exact same font as the main menu buttons.
  132. Bottom bar text

    • improvedThe bottom bar buttons (Patch Notes / Feedback / CMS) now use the same text size as the main menu buttons.
  133. Viewer counter tweaks

    • improvedThe “who’s online” counter now has the white glow from the design and sits clear of the buttons on tablets/iPad.
  134. Home page polish

    • improvedHome page buttons now use the custom pixel icons, the Patch Notes button is blue, and all the buttons have hover states. Removed the white outline, tidied the “Soon” tag on Bullet Echo Tournaments, and moved the “who’s online” counter up and in.
  135. New home page look

    • improvedThe home page got a redesign to match the new mockup: the links are now white buttons in a single column, with a white bottom bar and a tidier “who’s online” pill.
    • improvedHome page menu order now matches the design (Portfolio first); Bullet Echo Tournaments, Random, Marathon and Gym Tracker show as “Soon”.
  136. Who’s online

    • newA little live counter in the bottom-right now shows the flags of the countries people are viewing the site from right now, with how many from each. It updates on its own and only shows countries with someone currently online.
  137. Design coaching up front

    • improvedDesign coaching is now the first link on the home page.
  138. Coaching go-live fix

    • fixAfter paying for a coaching session you’re now reliably returned to the live site (the post-payment redirect uses the public site URL).
  139. Coaching: Discord & menu

    • newDesign coaching sessions are held on Discord — booking now asks for your Discord username, and it’s added to the calendar event. (No video-meeting link is created.)
    • improvedCoaching calendar events use a blue colour instead of red.
    • improvedAdded “Design coaching” to the hamburger menu, and the home-page logo can now be middle-clicked to open the home page in a new tab.
  140. Design coaching: book & pay

    • newYou can now book design-coaching sessions: pick one or more 1-hour slots, pay with card, and the session lands in the calendar with a Google Meet invite sent to your email. Multiple sessions can be booked in one go. (Goes live once payment + calendar are configured.)
  141. Design coaching

    • newNew “Design coaching” page on the home page: 1-on-1 sessions about what makes design work — any medium, from print to 3D to video editing — for $1 an hour. A drop-down explains what a session includes. Booking isn’t live yet, so the buy button is disabled for now.
  142. Speaking checks itself & stricter hanzi

    • improvedSpoken answers are now graded the moment you finish speaking — right or wrong — instead of listening on. Saying a clearly different word counts as incorrect right away, and the mic stops cycling (that start/stop tone on Android should mostly disappear).
    • newA live audio wave moves with your voice while the mic is listening, so you can see it hears you.
    • improvedWhat you said is never shown on screen — not even after checking.
    • fixChinese answers must now match exactly: a partial word like 长 is no longer accepted for 长城. (Alternative answers still work via “/” on the card.)
    • fixPinyin hover/long-press on the prompt is disabled until you check, so it can’t be used as a hint.
    • improvedTranscribe/dictation tasks show the English translation after checking (single-hanzi practice stays without one). The mouse cursor turns into a grab hand while you’re dragging a deck.
  143. Long-press to reorder decks

    • improvedReordering decks now needs a deliberate long-press before you drag, so a normal tap (to open a deck) or a scroll never moves your decks by accident.
    • fixLong-pressing a deck on iPad/iPhone no longer selects the deck name text or pops up the selection menu.
  144. Search your cards

    • newThe Cards tab now has a built-in search: press Ctrl+F (or just type in the search box) to filter your cards by front, back, or pinyin. Escape clears it.
  145. Speaking & pairing polish

    • newAdded Hungarian to the language list.
    • improvedWhen you answer by speaking, it’s now accepted automatically the moment it’s right — no need to press Check. What you say is no longer shown on screen; it’s handled in the background.
    • improvedSpoken-answer modes no longer play the English audio when you check — English isn’t the language you’re learning, so the text is enough.
    • improvedFor listen-and-write / pronounce tasks (where the card shows no English), the English translation now appears after you check.
    • fixLong-pressing for pinyin no longer interferes with tapping tiles in the pairing game.
  146. Mixed study modes & smarter speaking

    • newStudy modes now come mixed automatically — every card (and each single hanzi) is tracked with its own spaced-repetition schedule per mode, so you no longer pick one mode from a dropdown.
    • newA quick pairing round now pops up now and then while you study. It keeps those cards on schedule but doesn’t count toward your daily number.
    • improvedSpoken-answer modes keep the mic listening and auto-retry until you press Check (instead of dropping you into a text box), with a clear “listening — speak now” indicator so you know exactly when to talk.
    • fixSaying your answer twice (to make sure the mic heard you) now counts as correct.
    • fixIn pairing, a wrong match now highlights only the two tiles you tapped — it no longer lights up the correct pair and gives the answer away.
  147. Choose your language

    • newPick the language you’re learning (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German and more) from a “Learning” selector in Language Cards. Audio, speech and the study-mode names now follow your choice instead of always saying “Chinese”.
    • newThe pinyin pop-ups and the hanzi practice modes now only appear on Chinese decks; other languages get the translate, audio, speak and dictation modes.
    • improvedYour language setting applies to the decks you own — studying a deck someone shared with you uses their language, not yours.
  148. Study modes, audio, pairing & single hanzi

    • newPick a study mode: translate either way, listen (audio), speak your answer, write what you hear, hanzi → pinyin, and more — the available modes depend on whether you’re on phone or computer.
    • newAudio uses your device’s text-to-speech; spoken answers use speech recognition (Chrome/Edge/Android).
    • newSingle-hanzi practice: every unique character from your cards becomes its own item (with pinyin), separate from your normal cards.
    • newPairing mode: match 5 prompts to 5 answers on one screen. It doesn’t count toward your daily streak.
    • improvedRemoved the “in queue” counter from the study bar.
  149. Study polish

    • fixThe study card no longer shows a clickable (pointer) cursor since it isn’t clickable.
    • improvedThe “checked by AI” model info now uses the same styled popup as pinyin, and pinyin appears a bit higher.
    • improved“Cards left today” now updates on its own as you study — no refresh needed.
  150. Study & home-page tweaks

    • newHover the ⓘ next to “checked by AI” to see which model graded your answer.
    • newHotkey L now moves to the next card after an answer is checked.
    • improvedA correct answer no longer shows an explanation — only wrong answers get a reason.
    • improvedOpening Language Cards on a phone no longer pops the keyboard open automatically.
    • improvedReorder decks by dragging the deck itself (works on touch); a tap still opens it.
    • improvedThe home-page bottom links (Patch notes, Feedback, CMS) now stay pinned to the bottom of the screen.
  151. Auto-friends, deck drag on touch, more

    • newAccepting a deck editor invite now makes you friends automatically.
    • improvedYou can drag the handle to reorder decks on touch devices now, not just with a mouse.
    • improvedAnswer-checking with the AI now accepts synonyms and alternative translations even if they aren’t listed on the card.
    • newA little scroll on the home page now shows an “end of home page” marker.
  152. Answer checking

    • newStudying now checks your typed answer and grades it for you (no more pressing Good/Bad): type the answer, press Enter, and it marks you correct or wrong. Handles typos, case, accents and multiple accepted answers — and can use a local AI model for meaning-based answers if one is set up.
  153. Live invite & friend notices

    • improvedDeck invites and friend requests now show up on their own — no need to refresh. They update every few seconds and the moment you return to the tab.
  154. Carousel glitch fix

    • fixFixed a rare glitch where a project could show two projects side by side after reopening the browser mid-swipe — the carousel now resets when the page is restored.
  155. Clearer study stats

    • improvedThe streak now sits at the top, above the daily “cards left today”, and the study counter is labelled “reviewed this session” so it’s clear it counts the current session (not your daily total).
  156. True swipe carousel for projects

    • improvedSwiping between portfolio projects is now a real carousel — the next/previous project moves in under your finger exactly as you drag (slow drag = slow move), and snaps over when you let go.
  157. iOS portfolio tap fix

    • fixOn iPhone/iPad, tapping a portfolio project now opens it on the first tap instead of just playing the preview.
  158. Friends & their streaks

    • newAdd friends by Discord username (they accept the request), then see each friend’s streak and whether they’ve done it today, right in the Language Cards sidebar.
  159. Deck invites & reordering

    • newInviting someone to a deck now sends an invitation they accept or decline — you’ll see pending invites in a notice at the top of Language Cards.
    • newReorder your decks by dragging them in the list.
  160. Language Cards study upgrades

    • newStudy hotkeys: Space/Enter flips, L = Good, A = Bad — and the next card loads instantly.
    • newEdit a card right from the Learn tab if you spot a mistake while studying.
    • newCopy button next to the foreign-language text on cards.
    • improvedYou earn a streak when you finish all your cards for the day, even if that’s fewer than 50.
    • improvedAll four tabs show even before you make a deck, the add-card box stays in view, pressing Enter adds the card, and new cards appear at the top of the list.
    • improvedSwiping between projects is animated, the pinyin popup sits higher (above your finger), and the menu closes when you click outside it.
  161. More reliable updates

    • improvedBehind the scenes: database updates now use migrations, so site updates apply cleanly without the occasional sign-in/loading glitches after a deploy.
  162. Android pinyin long-press fix

    • fixLong-pressing a Chinese character on Android now reliably shows its pinyin instead of getting cancelled by the browser.
  163. Stay logged in, swipe projects, pinyin fix

    • fixSign-in now sticks for 30 days instead of logging you out after a couple of hours or when you close the browser.
    • newSwipe left/right to move between portfolio projects on touch devices.
    • fixLong-pressing a Chinese character to see its pinyin no longer selects the text on Android.
    • improvedRenamed “Languages” to “Language Cards” everywhere in the menu.
  164. Project arrows & study streaks

    • newOn a portfolio project you can now jump to the previous/next project with the side arrows (or the left/right arrow keys).
    • newLanguage Cards now has a daily goal of 50 cards with a streak — see your streak and how many cards are left for the day while you study.
    • fixFixed a crash that could happen when a card was reviewed an unusually large number of times.
  165. Notes format as you type

    • improvedDeck notes now use a rich editor: type Markdown (#, **bold**, - lists) and it formats in place instantly, like RemNote — the symbols disappear. Still saved as Markdown.
  166. Pinyin on hover

    • newHover (or long-press on phones) any Chinese characters in the Languages section to see their pinyin — in cards, study, notes and deck names.
  167. Study both ways, markdown notes

    • newEvery card is now studied both directions (front→back and back→front), tracked separately — the Cards tab still shows one entry per card.
    • newDeck notes now support Markdown formatting (with a Write/Preview toggle), so RemNote-style notes render properly.
    • improvedPatch notes refresh faster and update the moment you return to the tab.
  168. Languages: rename, type-to-study, notes import

    • newRename a deck from its header (pencil icon).
    • newIn study you can type your answer before flipping — it’s not graded, you still decide Good or Bad yourself.
    • newImport a text file straight into a deck’s notes, like the card import.
  169. Languages: import, simpler study, auto-save notes

    • newImport cards into a deck from RemNote or a CSV — paste your export (or pick a file) on the Cards tab.
    • improvedStudying now uses just two buttons — Good and Bad — instead of four.
    • improvedDeck notes save automatically as you type; the Save button is gone.
  170. Menu icons & feedback tidy-up

    • newThe pop-out menu now shows an icon next to each link, matching the home page.
    • improvedFeedback is now suggestions-only — generic comments are out; please post specific suggestions for the website or the rules.
    • fixAfter signing in with Discord, the Languages page now updates on its own instead of needing a manual refresh.
  171. Hub icons

    • newEach link on the home page now has a little icon (Portfolio, Languages, Bullet Echo, Contact, plus Patch notes, Feedback and CMS) so they’re easier to recognize at a glance.
  172. Nav tidy-up

    • improvedLanguages now sits right after Portfolio in the menu.
    • improvedRandom is paused for now — its menu button is disabled while it’s worked on.
    • improvedReworded the Bullet Echo placeholder to “Currently under development.”
  173. Bullet Echo on pause

    • improvedThe Bullet Echo Tournament area is paused for now — it shows a simple “want updates?” newsletter sign-up. The tournament features aren’t gone, just hidden until the next event.
  174. Languages — flashcards & study
